Fixed forms have attracted many researchers. This special phenomenon of language has been discovered from different angles. According to the Author, these ways can be put into three main groups: language, psychology and communication. This article deals with the first two ways. The way to approach language inquires the process of lexical fixing so as to define characteristics of phraseology through criteria of syntax and semantics. The way to approach psychology relies on memory; It gives permission to exceed the traditional lexical units at the level of below the sentence to approach co-op groups which were considered product of culture. Hence, it is necessary to combine these two ways to understand thoroughly both width and depth of this special lexical phenomenon.
