Advertising is an activiy of verbal communication not only to present information but also to win mind and heart of advertisement receivers, the potential customers. Advertising goal is a specific communication task and achievement level to be accomplished with a specific audience. Advertisements (ads) are also available around us that we cannot keep on ignoring them. They are informative and may keep “in touch” with the world. Ads exist with their own linguistic characterictics. There are also a lot of cultural, nationl features and elements in ads. It is a real picture of social, economic, political life in Russia today. Thanks to ads we can get to know more about Russia, its culture, its traditions, cuctoms and its language.
